Popular travel YouTuber and doctor-turned-content creator Navankur Chaudhary, known as “Yatri Doctor,” has denied any involvement in espionage after his name surfaced in discussions following the arrest of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra in an alleged Pakistan spying case.In a video shared on Instagram, Chaudhary rejected the allegations against him and called the claims “baseless.” He said the narrative being circulated on social media was fake and urged people not to draw conclusions without verifying facts.

Navankur Chaudhary is a registered MBBS doctor who completed his medical education from Madras Medical College in 2015. Originally from Rohtak, Haryana, he later moved away from his medical career to pursue his passion for travelling and content creation.

In 2017, he launched his YouTube channel “Yatri Doctor,” where he began sharing travel experiences from different countries. Over the years, his channel gained popularity, earning him millions of views and a large following among travel enthusiasts. He has reportedly travelled to 144 countries and continues to document his journeys on social media.The controversy began after some old videos of Chaudhary attending an event at the Pakistan High Commission surfaced online. Some social media users also raised questions over his past content, including criticism related to a comment about a BSF jawan and an alleged incorrect map representation of India.

Responding to the criticism, Chaudhary clarified that he had visited Pakistan only once. He said the visit was part of his goal to travel across all 197 countries of the world and had no connection with any suspicious activity.

Addressing his association with Jyoti Malhotra, Chaudhary said she approached him as a fan and that they only had a brief conversation about YouTube. He claimed that he did not personally know her before that interaction.Jyoti Malhotra, who runs a travel YouTube channel named “Travel With JO,” was arrested in a case related to alleged links with Pakistani contacts. Authorities are investigating the matter.Chaudhary also defended his patriotism, stating that several members of his family have served in the armed forces. He said he has always been proud of his Indian identity and denied any allegations questioning his loyalty.The YouTuber further stated that he is not under any investigation by Indian authorities and is ready to cooperate with agencies if required. He appealed to people not to believe misleading information and wait for verified facts.The controversy has sparked discussions around social media accusations, online misinformation, and the importance of verifying claims before reaching conclusions.
