Her return journey was disrupted by landslides and flash floods near the Tibet Nepal border, forcing her group to navigate difficult conditions before making their way home. A video from Mumbai airport showed the actress embracing her daughter Nirvi and husband, singer Parthiv Gohil.

From there, the group travelled towards Kathmandu, with Parekh describing the road journey as an exceptionally difficult one. Despite the exhaustion and uncertainty, reaching Mumbai and seeing her family made the ordeal worthwhile for the actress. Parekh had earlier reassured her followers that she and her group were safe while also expressing concern for people affected by the devastating floods. She had shared updates from the region as the disaster unfolded and urged people to pray for those caught in the crisis.
